Las Vegas, NV — September 2024 — Shoes for Scholars is proud to announce the resounding success of its annual golf tournament held on August 26, 2024, at Red Rock Country Club. The event raised an impressive $31,618, all of which will go toward providing shoes to underprivileged students in the Las Vegas area.
This year’s tournament featured 80 golfers, 93 attendees for the celebratory luncheon, and 21 generous sponsors, including notable names like The Capital Grille, Jaguar Land Rover, and Moss Berg Injury Lawyers. The funds raised will help ensure that students in need can start the school year with the essential footwear to support their educational journey.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and sponsored this year’s event,” said May Kane, the event organizer. “The outpouring of support from the community continues to amaze us year after year, and it allows us to make a direct impact on the lives of local students.”
